How can I tell which users are accessing which websites?
DNSFilter's Roaming Clients offer per-user reporting to track website (domain) or user traffic. Use DNS Insights reporting in the app to get view activity.
- From the DNSFilter dashboard, navigate to Reporting and select DNS Insights
- Scroll to All threats by domain
- Use drill down functions to view data specifics
- Either, Filter by Domain:
A. Select the domain and filter for the timestamp
B. Select the drop down caret to view the user details - Or, Filter by User:
A. Switch DNS Insights to All threats by user
B. Select the user to view their activity
Relays allow insight based on devices (ip addresses) on your network, and so you can often associate with a user, but it won't give you the offsite protection and therefore user reporting that comes with a Roaming Client. Also worth noting, DNS Forwarding only allows insights based on the network itself.

DNSFilter should make a hardware relay client that could be easily deployed. Simple plug and play with GUI configuration option would be great.
