We want to hear from you! When it comes to DNSFilter policies, everyone has their own go-to setup—but what are your non-negotiables?

You can approach this challenge in one of two ways:

🔹 Option 1: One Policy to Rule Them All

If you were building a single, all-purpose policy, what are the top 3 things you'd include every time?
For example: 

No matter what, I always:

1. Block all threats
2. Enforce SafeSearch
3. Block file sharing in AppAware

🔹 Option 2: Multiple Policies for Different Needs

If you manage different policies for your business, what are your 3 must-have policy types?
Here’s an example:

• Test Policy – Used to validate changes before rolling them out organization-wide.
• Remote User Policy – Designed for traveling staff, with categories like games and shopping temporarily allowed.
• Marketing/Social Policy – Tailored for the team that manages your company’s social media accounts.

Q: Can I participate if I'm new to DNSFilter?
A: Absolutely! The challenge is open to all U.S.-based DNSFilter users, no matter how long you’ve been with us.

Q: How are winners selected?
A: Winners will be chosen through a random drawing at the end of the challenge. Each eligible entry increases your chances of being selected!

Q: How many times can I enter?
A: You can earn up to 30 total entries:

• Your first post (question + answer) is worth 5 entries.
• You can earn 25 additional entries as follows:
  • In your initial post, tell us why you've made these choices
  • Start a new post under the related Community Topic (e.g. ask a question, share a use case, or start a discussion)
  • Reply to existing posts by commenting thoughtfully
