Intermittent Blocked Site Delay
AnsweredI'm using DNSFilter to block adult content. I thought that this DNSFilter was the best for such tasks, but I was wrong. I'm using DNSFilter on my Windows 11. However, when I disconnect from my Wi-Fi and reconnect, and then try to open a blocked site, I can easily access it. After a few seconds, DNSFilter blocks it again. I can access the blocked site using these steps! Please help me.

This matter was discussed this with our Windows Developers to provide some insights on what to do if anyone experiences this issue.
Current Behavior
The Windows Roaming Client (RC) is designed to handle network changes and new configurations. However, after disconnecting and reconnecting the Network Interface Card (NIC), it may take 10-15 seconds for the Roaming Client to fully restore its connection. During this brief period, there may be no internet connectivity, which is expected behavior as the client re-establishes its network bindings.
We were able to reproduce this behavior on a Windows test machine. While this is currently expected due to the Roaming Client's startup process--where there's a 10-15 second window during which a user could potentially access a blocked site--we understand this might be inconvenient.
Once the client fully binds, access to blocked domains should be properly restricted.
If you believe this behavior should be adjusted, we encourage you to submit a feature request directly in-app!
