Use this article to download CyberSight logs for troubleshooting assistance.
The Windows Roaming Client stores CyberSight logs in the following directory:
Standard: C:\ProgramData\DNSFilter Agent\Logs
Whitelabel: C:\ProgramData\DNS Agent\Logs
ProgramData is a hidden system folder. Follow the steps below to access it.
Download log file
Follow these steps from the Windows device.
Open the Logs folder
- Open File Explorer
- Select the address bar
- Paste:
C:\ProgramData\DNSFilter Agent\LogsorC:\ProgramData\DNS Agent\Logs - Press Enter
This opens the Logs folder directly.
If access is denied, administrative permissions may be required. Select Continue if prompted.
Send the logs to Support
- Open the Logs folder
- Select all files (Ctrl + A)
- Right-click and select Send to > Compressed (zipped) folder
- Save the ZIP file to the Desktop
- Attach the ZIP file to the support request reply
Include any relevant details about the issue in the request to assist with review.
