Generating customer report
I looked and can't find a way to generate a report for a point of contact for a customer. At most I can generate a PDF for queries, but the Insights page doesn't seem to have any download as a PDF function.

Hi Ben Quick, downloadable files are not currently available directly from the Insights page in DNSFilter. However, depending on the specific data you’re trying to collect, you can use any of the reports listed in our Reporting section to export a subset of the data outlined on the main Insights page.
Below are the available reports and example use cases for each, as detailed in our DNSFilter Dashboard Reporting Guide:
- Data Explorer: Provides up to 30 days of history for domains visited, including details about who accessed them and how frequently. This data can be viewed at a top-level per Site or drilled down as granularly as per user or device, depending on your deployment type.
- Top Requests: Provides a clear overview of the most frequently accessed domains on your network, serving as a valuable reference for identifying domains that may need to be added to your block list to enhance security or enforce content policies.
- Alerts: Enables you to schedule weekly reports of threat domains blocked, which can be automatically sent to an email contact of your choice, keeping stakeholders informed about security activity.
- Scheduled Reports: Offers a top-level overview of the number of threat and content blocks that occurred over the last 30 days.
Alternatively, if there are specific threats or content blocks that happened in the last 3 days that you would like to make a client aware of, you can export a CSV from the DNS Query Log under Tools to show exact timeframes in which a block occurred with the Site, Device, or User identified.
If you let me know the specific data you’re looking for, I’d be happy to guide you toward the most relevant report or help you set it up. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any additional questions!
