Reference this article to understand the default settings of the Your First Policy Filtering Policy found in your DNSFilter app. This is helpful when just getting started with DNSFilter as a baseline protection for your network, or if you've updated the Policy's selections but want to revert back to the default settings.
DNSFilter configures every new account with a default Filtering Policy called Your First Policy set to block the most popular categories and threats. This includes enforcing privacy features, which block some advanced threats like trackers and parked sites.

This is automatically enforced on all accounts and cannot be turned off. Both IWF and Project Arachnid deal with blocking sites which host CSAM. |
