Reference this article to understand the default settings of the Your First Policy Filtering Policy found in your DNSFilter app. This is helpful when just getting started with DNSFilter as a baseline protection for your network, or if you've updated the Policy's selections but want to revert back to the default settings.
DNSFilter configures every new account with a default Filtering Policy called Your First Policy set to block the most popular categories and threats. This includes enforcing SafeSearch on all the listed search engines and blocking some advanced settings like trackers and parked sites.
