What we know

After the release of Mac's operating system Sequoia (OS 15), DNSFilter started receiving notifications from users that have updated their OS that the agent no longer auto-updates to the latest version.

Our team discovered that new security settings in the OS stop this function and have deployed an updated agent (version 1.8.6) that resolves the issue as of 10 October 2024. 

How to work around the issue

Users that have already updated to Sequoia must manually update to agent version 1.8.6.

Users that have not made the update yet should wait to install Sequoia until after they install agent version 1.8.6 to avoid this issue.
