Account users with admin permissions or higher use this article to add Internationalized Domain Names (IDNs) to Allow and Block Lists using Punycode.

IDNs represent domain names in non-Latin or extended Latin languages, such as Russian, Chinese, Cyrillic, Arabic, and similar scripts.

Because internet DNS servers cannot natively process the characters of these languages, they employ Punycode to convert Unicode characters into ASCII.

To add an IDN to an Allow or Block List: 

1. Enter the native domain name into a converter such as Punycoder.com 
2. Add the Punycode result to a policy's Allow or Block List 

The IDN is now included in the Filtering Policy's Allow or Block List.
