Auto-Update release process
Enabling the Automatic Updates setting ensures the roaming client agents are kept up-to-date.
We offer a customer-selectable Release Channel (Beta and Production) for our macOS and Windows Roaming Clients. These are available for both new install download links and our auto-update feature.
More information on this can be found in our Roaming Client Release Channels documentation.
Best practice for Administrators who want to test the roaming clients before deploying to individual devices is to invest in an MDM solution so you can control when updates occur on devices, giving adequate time to test roaming clients in your environment prior to them being updated on individual devices.
