Users with Admin permissions or higher use this article to collect diagnostic (debug) logs for Support review.
Debug logs capture detailed information about the Android agent's activity and can help DNSFilter Support identify the cause of filtering, connectivity, or registration issues. Collect and send logs while the issue is active or immediately after replicating it to ensure the most relevant data is captured.
Copy the Mobile Admin Pin
The mobile admin pin is necessary to access the logs.
- Navigate to Deployments and select Roaming Clients
- Locate the Android agent from the Roaming Client list
- From the Action menu, select the drop down caret
- Scroll to Pins
- Copy the Mobile Admin Pin
- Navigate to the Android device to enter the Pin
Populate and send the logs
- Use the Android device to replicate the issue
- From the Android agent, select Debug
- Enter the Mobile Admin Pin
- Select Email Debug Logging
- Select Send
This sends the Debug Logs to a shared inbox for our Support Team.
Contact Support
Notify DNSFilter Support after sending the logs by replying to the existing thread or opening a new request for review.
